Maravilla
Notes: Aged Vanilla Bean Tincture, Marigold Absolute, Amber, Blood Orange, Cocoa, Sugar, Cinnamon Leaf, Carnation
They said she would dab vanilla extract onto her wrists when she was cooking. Only ever wore her good perfume to church.
Maravilla is my most true vanilla scent. It primarily features a vanilla tincture that I started last year on November 1st - Dia de Los Muertos. Although we don't really celebrate in my family, many of us still put out pictures and buy a pot of marigolds this time of year.

Warm, sweet (but not too sweet) vanilla scent. Sits close to the skin, but is so lovely. A coworker came into my space when I was wearing it and said it smelled "like You, real clean and sweet".
This is my absolute dream fall vanilla. Like if I was going to create a hypothetical perfect fall vanilla, it would feature everything Maravilla does. Its a golden, thick, hazy, rich, spiced vanilla with the added texture of cocoa powder and lightly powdery carnation. Stunning.
It’s as amazing as everyone says, a soft chocolaty vanilla with a little supporting spice in the background. Just lovely, longevity is great (I get 10-12 hrs!) and silage is moderate. One of my favorites so far from this house 🍫 ❤️
I'm sorry to say I don't get the hype but that means more for the rest of you! I wonder if I would have liked it more as an oil but I know that wasn't possible due to the ingredients.
I'm not sure I could parse out vanilla in this if I did a true blind test but I've felt that with other 'vanilla' scents too. Sometimes I'm not sure I even know what vanilla is anymore...I did one spray and I think this projects an appropriate amount for that. Not too strong not too weak. I really don't feel like I get explicitly get any of the stated notes so it's well blended at the least. Not sure what I would think if I never saw the notes. The amber and the cocoa make the most sense to me.
This just isn't really what I anticipated. I don't think it works for/on me but I don't think it's a bad composition. I could see it being more mainstream actually (complementary). I could see this having been composed maybe 20+ years ago. There's nothing wrong with it but I don't think it's for me.
This smells amazing! It’s exactly what I was looking for in a vanilla to wear during the fall/winter because it’s warm and interesting. It smells “golden” to me from the amber and marigolds, and a bit spiced from the cinnamon leaf.
