Palomino
Notes: White Sage, Coriander, Clove, Sweet Dry Grasses, Tobacco Flower, Creosote, Leather, Patchouli, Vetiver, Amber, Natural Cambodian Oud
Mid-morning in late September we were riding out to take a look at your mother’s land. It had rained late night and the warming air was heavy and aromatic. The ground was covered in a mix of damp dried grasses, sage brush, and cactus.
The horse you had lent me was a young and calmly rebellious palomino. He shifted his weight slowly onto a hoof he had placed on my right boot. Was he testing me?

I can really appreciate this scent! For me it transports me to Big Bend, with the wild horses grazing near by. To me, it’s just a little too horsey to be wearable. I love that’s it’s in my collection because I love to sniff it every once in a while. A work of art, but not one I personally like to wear.
I was not the biggest fan of palomino but loved Maravilla.
I think l it was a very interesting and you will definitely get a lot of the hay smell.
My dad got this in a 10ml after I gifted him my sample and he loved it. It's really nice and well rounded, masculine but not in an overbearing way, this would be nice on a woman too! The leather and tobacco flower comes through the most to me, softened by the herbs and something a little sweet. I'm not huge on leather, but if you are, you should definitely give this a try.
There's something so addictive about Palomino that keeps me huffing my wrists. It's complex and nostalgic with a natural sweetness from the grasses and tobacco flower, but it's unisex. It really evokes daydreams about riding horses in the west.
This scent smells very well blended. It's kind of dry and a little sweet to my nose. Not really the type of thing I'd usually wear but I found that I kept sniffing my wrist after trying it. Overall, I ended up liking it a lot.
