Cirrus Parfum
Snooze
Snooze
My experiment to make a modern fleurmande chypre. This feels quite feminine to me and has opposing elements of brightness and grounded sweets.
Notes: tonka bean, lilac, vanilla absolute, green cardamom, cashmere cardigans, white chocolate, and plumeria over a modernized chypre base.
Streaks of light piercing through the curtains on a quiet Saturday morning. You know that when you get out of bed the house will be just a bit too cold. You haven’t turned the heat on yet this season. You bide your time. Hit the snooze button, and wait for the sun’s warmth to do it’s work.

I had to let this one grow on me after a few tries, so I'll describe my journey with it. When it was fresh from shipment it smelled a bit soapy and a touch sharp to me, like clean laundry. Which isn't unpleasant, but not the kind of scent I generally feel moved to wear. It also has a specific kind of nostalgia to me, as it reminds me of my late beloved aunt's house.
Trying it again after a couple of weeks, the soapiness went away while still having a pleasant "clean sheets" quality, and more of the sweetness came out. The sweetness is subtle, and not a typical gourmand kind of sweetness.
The best way I can think to describe this is that it smells clean, but cozy. I usually associate "cozy" scents with warm notes like cinnamon, vanilla, and milk, but this is a different sort of cozy. It feels more cozy in the way that a nice house or hotel is: clean and tidy, but also comforting and homey. I find it especially well-suited as a scent to wear to work.
I love the cardamom in this! It’s a cozy scent, but it leans just a little bit sexier, just a tad darker, almost spicier but it’s so balanced I don’t smell any one thing but all of it. I was weary of the plumeria in this but I feel like it doesn’t even smell that floral, more like fresh laundry and something edible.
Snooze reminds me of the scent of tarot and Crystal shops around my area. Not that thats a bad thing, cause i love going to those shops! It smells clean and the lilac is strong to my nose. So far, I’ve only tested it on paper, so I will have to try it on skin, but these perfumes are so unique and so well blended!
i really like the art for this. i love the idea of a perfume for sleeping in on a slow morning.
this is an unconventional cozy scent. it's not gourmand or sugary, nor fall/pumpkin spiced. it's sweet and pretty BUT made interesting/slightly darker and more sophisticated with the cardamom. i agree with another review here that's a bit of a sexy scent. i ultimately prefer "moon bathing" as my ultimate cozy/sleep scent, but this one is very well-blended. i could see it on a femme in a sexy sweater at a classy bar.
My favorite ive tried so far! This scent is amazing and perfect for the fall! I will definitely be purchasing a full bottle of this!
