My experiment to make a modern fleurmande chypre. This feels quite feminine to me and has opposing elements of brightness and grounded sweets.

Notes: tonka bean, lilac, vanilla absolute, green cardamom, cashmere cardigans, white chocolate, and plumeria over a modernized chypre base.

Streaks of light piercing through the curtains on a quiet Saturday morning. You know that when you get out of bed the house will be just a bit too cold. You haven’t turned the heat on yet this season. You bide your time. Hit the snooze button, and wait for the sun’s warmth to do it’s work.

The Perfect Nap scent

I did not think Snooze was for me. At first sniff, I was hit with and turned off by the cashmere. But, I adore cardamom and lilac and Cirrus has never failed to interest me even if I don't love every scent. Well. I'm glad I let Snooze rest a bit! The cashmere still hits me, but in a soft, warm way. The green cardamom is a beautiful earthy spice. It is all lightened a bit by the lilac but not in a floral way. That lilac is just a subtly sweet supporting cast member whose job it is to make sure the main characters don't completely take over the play. Sillage and projection are excellent, as Cirrus always is for me. Definitely in my Top 3 along with Bellano and Chamomile Cafe.

Ultimate Cozy Scent

This makes me think of a luxurious spa, the smells of a bakery, and the comfort of my home. Its the warm robe provided to you, the amber lighting, closing your eyes while the spa music plays, and the scent of white tropical flowers. Its walking into a bakery on a chilly day and the heat hits you along with the smells of the delicious sweet treats made of cardamon, vanilla, and white chocolate. Its the ease of being at home, wearing your rattiest but most comfy clothes as get perfectly situated on your couch with your fluffy socks and snacks for a day of vegging on the couch. This scent is all of that combined, its the most cozy of coziest scents.

This fragrance has really good projection, everyone around you will want to hug or curl up right next to you. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin.

Not your average fleurmand

This is Cirrus Laundry Day’s sister. Switch up the florals and dial up the sweetness and you get Snooze. This is not your average fleurmand. It’s complex and expensive, for days or nights when you want to smell like a cozy marshmallow but like an upscale cozy marshmallow. A single marshmallow in a little cloche selling for $19 at Erewhon.

Gorgeous

This is maybe one of the best scents I've ever tested, I would just highly recommend getting the EDP samples instead of the oils. Two of my oil samples have already broken and I'd only managed to open each once.

On the scent though, it's unbelievably cozy, a little fuzzy, and oh so perfectly warm. Honestly my perfect signature scent that I am positively going to full size.

Wowww

Snooze is incredible. I smelled the sample for like 20 minutes as soon as it came in the mail and then immediately ordered the roller and largest spray size. I wear it to bed every night and its so comforting.
Only remotely critical feedback is that I wish it came in an even larger size, but thats not a real problem lol
I think it would be really cool to have a collection of sleepy smells or variations of Snooze for different sleepy moods. Its so perfect, though!
