My experiment to make a modern fleurmande chypre. This feels quite feminine to me and has opposing elements of brightness and grounded sweets.

Notes: tonka bean, lilac, vanilla absolute, green cardamom, cashmere cardigans, white chocolate, and plumeria over a modernized chypre base.

Streaks of light piercing through the curtains on a quiet Saturday morning. You know that when you get out of bed the house will be just a bit too cold. You haven’t turned the heat on yet this season. You bide your time. Hit the snooze button, and wait for the sun’s warmth to do it’s work.

cozy, savory-sweet

i really like the art for this. i love the idea of a perfume for sleeping in on a slow morning.

this is an unconventional cozy scent. it's not gourmand or sugary, nor fall/pumpkin spiced. it's sweet and pretty BUT made interesting/slightly darker and more sophisticated with the cardamom. i agree with another review here that's a bit of a sexy scent. i ultimately prefer "moon bathing" as my ultimate cozy/sleep scent, but this one is very well-blended. i could see it on a femme in a sexy sweater at a classy bar.

Ultimate Cozy Scent

This fragrance is the ultimate Cozy scent. I bought this to wear as my bedtime and work from home fragrance. Snooze is the dreamiest, creamiest lilac fragrance ever and I cannot get enough of it. I have smelled the entire collection of Cirrus Parfums with the exception of: The Idea of You, Just Spiced Pears, The Storage Proclivities of Mr. Dickens and Brushfire. Every fragrance is beautiful and I will be buying so many more. Zoey, you're a true artist and so special.

Eureka!

Any season, any time of day, this is IT for me, the one I’ve been looking and longing for. A soft spicy warm hug, it’s neither too gourmand nor floral. Extremely well blended and balanced, it forms a whole wonderful fragrance that is not just a combination of notes. It is a masterpiece! Thank you Zooey for my new signature. It’s perfect!

Snoozy days

A nice balance of light florals, spice, something creamy, and your favorite cozy fabrics. It makes me think of a favorite blanket, hoodie or cardigan and I imagine myself wrapped up in it on a breezy day… maybe I’m watching my favorite comfort show or movie too. This one is a bit hard for me to explain but I do think the name matches the scent. My nose is very drawn to the cashmere aspect and the tonka. Typically, I’m not super into foodie notes but the white chocolate gives creamy but not too sweet. This is weirdly warm and cozy but scratches the “clean aesthetic” itch too. Personally, I could also see this being a great “sleep scent” that’s not your typical lavender base. I can see a similarity between this one and Laundry Day but not necessarily because of the notes but because of the overall VIBE. With both I get a cozy, and clean wrapped up in sheets type of feeling. But Laundry Day makes me think more of a sunny breezy spring morning, and Snooze makes me think of cozy evenings or even an overcast, cooler weather day. With that in mind, I think this a good take on a cozy and warm fragrance that doesn’t lean too far into the “typical gourmand” type of scents you would generally see geared towards the cozy weather atmosphere. I believe this could be incorporated for all seasons and not at one point would I think “oh this is just an Autumn scent” etc. Overall, I enjoy my sample of this and I can appreciate it for what it’s doing!
