Notes: juniper berry, petitgrain, bitter orange, red mandarin, cedarwood, palo santo, and a warm fuzzy musk that feels to me like the hot belly of a clean dog.
Pam came to the animal shelter under mysterious circumstances. Nobody was quite sure what her history was or how old she was. All we knew was that she came from a small orange grove in California.
She was anxious about nearly everything, but I could tell she was a sweet animal. One month after adopting her, she let me pet her - and she’s been my shadow ever since - 7 years later she’s a grumpy old girl with arthritis and the warmest spirit.

I was skeptical l of the juniper berry in this perfume, but I wasn’t prepared to be so wrong. The opening for me was juniper and musk. The dry down on this perfume is so beautiful.the orange is bright, fruity and adds sweetness while the juniper deepens a grounds the fragrance. The petitgrain and musk keeps the fragrance from being overly sweet and adds depth. This is a unique fragrance that I can’t recommend enough.
This one is my favorite in the sample set I got. The way it develops from a bright bitter orange into a cozy warm dry down is beautiful.
This fragrance opens with a blast of aromatic and slightly bitter juniper alongside the orange. This is a soft, delicate orange note, rather than the sharp citrus of many other orange fragrances. As the juniper faded a bit, I start to get notes of green leaves that I assume comes from the petitgrain. As the scent continues to develop on the dry down, the woody notes start to come through and are softened by the musk. I would not consider this to be an especially sweet fragrance, but more of a green citrus fragrance. This smells like how I imagine an orange tree would smell like, with leaves, bark, and fruit warming in the summer sun.
Nostalgia aside I was actually allergic to this. I’d never had a reaction to other fragrances I own but I really love the smell of this. I would only be applying this to clothing going forward instead of directly on skin. (Broke out in hives)
This is one of my favorites of the Spring/Summer collection, if not THE fave. It opens for me with sweet orange blossom which slowly transitions to the pithy, zesty orange fruit along with wood. I adore how this fragrance fully dries down to a comforting warmth that calls to mind a clean, contented furry critter!
