Sitting alone in a dark cafe, near the window. It’s raining outside but you are still warm and dry. You are reading a novel and enjoying a cup of chamomile tea while the smell of oatmeal cookies slowly grows. You realize a fresh batch has just come out of the oven.
Notes: Roman chamomile, oatmeal cookies, tuberose, orris butter, weathered woods, brown sugar, and a bit of raisin
This smells like lonely nights in a familiar place to me - very warm and cozy but with an undercurrent of melancholy.

I remember getting teased in high school because I would pack an oatmeal cookie with my lunch. They didn't understand my love for the complex flavoring and natural chewiness of that cookie, versus an overly sweet and fairly linear chocolate chip. This scent smells a little like victory. Its an approachable gourmand that doesn't immediately register as a gourmand. Its an oatmeal cookie made with maple, a little bit of spice, and chewy raisins. The raisin smells like the raisins you used to get in the little red box of Sunmaid. Its paired with an earthy tea to balance out the sweetness. This is a cozy scent that is warm and sweet but grounded. The kind you want to wear while reading a book under your favorite fuzzy blanket.
This has some lift off the skin but not much. That is okay because it is glued to your skin for at least 6 to 7 hours.
The description of this fragrance honestly nails it on the head much better than I could verbalize so from a not so educated nose, here’s my take:
On initial spray I get a blast of what I would describe to be like when you walk into a place that sells aromatherapy products, which of course I put two and two together and- chamomile. Gentle and soothing.
Then it quickly warms up with a smidge of sweetness and a little graininess. If I hadn’t read the notes I wouldn’t have known it was an oatmeal cookie accord. Not that it’s difficult to perceive. For me it was like “Hmm, that’s familiar… Oh wait yeah I DO smell that!” And this warm, woody, sweet but not too sweet chamomile is what this perfume remains like on my skin for its duration.
This is a fragrance I love to wear during my “cozy hours.” I’ve officially decided to clock out from the duties of my day, dishes are loaded, lights are dimmed, my skin is freshly bathed and fresh linens are calling. I spray this on and my anxieties are lightened.
So I can’t fully speak to the longevity of Chamomile Cafe since I wear it almost exclusively at home and at night but I will say I’ve worn Snooze to bed on multiple occasions with fantastic performance. Due to my insomnia I’ll wake up several times til I inevitably have to wake up and I still find it on my skin, soothing me back to sleep.
Sometimes I wear a fragrance to suit an occasion, a mood or because I think others will like it. Camomile Cafe is a favorite I often reach for and never tire of. However, this is personally so enjoyable that I can hardly sleep without spraying a bit of this warm and spicy yet clean and fresh scent on my wrists before bed. It’s a special ritual just for me!
i bought this to layer with a chamomile/black tea body oil i’ve had for a while and they pair so well! this scent is also surprisingly long lasting even when i don’t layer with an oil
I think its special as a fragrance collector when you stumble upon a perfume that you just can’t stop smelling despite it being outside of your usual scent profile. This one may not get as much play in my collection on the skin, but I keep picking it up just to sniff for the vibes. This gourmand is a pretty photorealistic cup of chamomile tea with an oatmeal raisin cookie on the side. For dunking perhaps, if you’re into that. It’s almost savory, though. It evokes coziness and the feeling of waiting for your tea to cool enough to sip while watching the door of a cafe for someone familiar to walk in. Maybe it’s raining outside, a little cold, but you feel relaxed and hopeful. Calm and cozy. Gender neutral. Would also make an incredible candle. Just saying. I would love for my whole house to smell like this.
