Cirrus Parfum
Parakeet
Parakeet
Notes: Fizzy grapefruit soda, freshly picked daisies, tiny forget-me-nots, and the powdery sweet down feathers of a well groomed parakeet
This perfume was inspired by rose-tinted memories of my first pet. Skye was a beautiful and very tame blue and white parakeet. Some of my earliest memories were of sneaking out of bed at sunrise and taking him out of his cage to play when the house and the world were just for the two of us.
It opens with a super carbonated and defined grapefruit soda. As it dries down the flowers and feathers will begin to come out.
This perfume is naturally colored with blue chamomile. Therefore the color of this fragrance may change slightly with age.

This fragrance reminded me of so many things with a delightfully fizzy quality. It’s not necessarily something I’d want to wear myself, but any scent named after an animal deserves to be smelled at least once.
To my nose, it has the nostalgic sparkle of those old Dino Fizzy Egg bath bombs, the gentle sweetness of non-alcoholic fizzy apple cider, and even a hint of Zupreem bird pellets—basically the avian equivalent of fruit loops. If you’ve ever smelled a parrot, you’ll recognize that mix of fruity dustiness immediately.
The accuracy is almost uncanny, and the craftsmanship is excellent. Even if it’s not a fragrance I’d personally reach for, it’s undeniably creative, well-made, and worth experiencing.
Exactly what I was hoping for based on the description—a lovely, bright, pick-me-up, scent. Hoping it joins the permanent collection!
The opening is absolutely beautiful, sparkly grapefruit with an effervescent quality. I wish the top notes could last longer, as they are gorgeous. The dry down is not bad at all, but it doesn't sing to me the same way as the opening. It's sweet and a bit powdery (not strongly powdery). Fresh and spring-y.
I love the bright citrus opening to this perfume. The grapefruit is slightly bitter and then as it dries down you start to get the soft floral notes. The down feather add a slightly musky note that grounds the perfume. This is one of my favorites of the line. It’s not overly citrus or floral. It’s just beautiful. It’s definitely a fragrance that I could see myself wearing everyday whether to work or out with friends and family.
Parakeet opens with a bright, carbonated grapefruit punch which quickly gives way to a very true daisy scent. It's a very realistic smell of a verdant summer field dotted with flowers. After some further dry down and wear, the clean feather musk makes for a soft landing; a unique skin scent. To my nose, it reminded me of burying my nose in the fur of a contended cat as they sunned themselves. 🥰
My partner has a fragrance sensitivity to a some component in Parakeet, which is a true shame because I would definitely be wearing this one 🥹🌼
